Stillness
Stillness is an innate energetic quality of Being (with a capital B).
Putting pencil to paper is for me a form of meditation, of connection, of stillness. I am connected to, a part of, and honoring both the creative divine and my subject. I am present, I am fully in my body, my brain and heart are having a singular conversation with my hand as a means of communion with my subject. It is profound, and a coming home.
I hope you enjoy this little lesson on sensitive sketching, of studying the stillness in sculpture, and I can’t wait to see how she inspires you.
