Art within Art

I have a thing for ornate gold frames. Often at museums I am equally besotted with the frames as I am with the artworks. I had no idea these sorts of frames would look so exquisite out in the wild, the gold against the green. I think we should hang more artwork in trees - I think the trees would love that too. And now I am imagining a Great Horned Owl sitting in a tree, looking at an ornately framed artwork of a Great Horned Owl, and my heart might burst with the beauty of that imaginary scene.⁠ Art within Art.
